Why don't you need a conveyancer based in Spelthorne ?
In the old days you used your local solicitor. You would visit their office in the centre of Spelthorne , and all documents would be hand-produced and posted or delivered by hand.
That service came at a price, but the truth is that it is no longer needed. With modern technology such as scanning, emailing and even Skype or Facetime video calls there is no need to use your local solicitor. Your conveyancer can be based anywhere and still provide a great service - even if he or she is in an office many miles away from Spelthorne or perhaps not even in Surrey .
We have successfully dealt with thousands of conveyancing transactions all over the country, even with clients from the other side of the world. It is not unknown for us to talk to clients outside the UK using Skype, and once we had clients in Thailand talking to us through an interpreter in New Zealand!
There will be no need for you to visit our offices or hand deliver documents. You need never leave Spelthorne - our conveyancers will talk you through the process via phone and email, and everything works just as smoothly as it would if we were just down the road.

Fees for conveyancing in Spelthorne
Our fees are transparent and, so long as the situation does not change (for example so long as your property doesn't turn out to be leasehold when we thought it was freehold) the fee we quote is the fee you will be charged.
We don't add extras on for things like photocopying, postage, or the like. Those are our overheads and we don't pass them on to you.
All our conveyancing fees are dependent on the nature and value of the transaction, so we naturally charge a bit more for more complicated and high value work. However, the fee charged will be the same for a customer in Newcastle as it would be for someone in London, or indeed in Spelthorne .
There are some aspects of our conveyancing fees which we can't change. Fees charged by other bodies such as HM Land Registry, or by HMRC for Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) are out of our control.
Introduction to Spelthorne
Spelthorne is a local government district and borough in Surrey. As of mid-2014 it has a population of 98,106. It lies very close to Greater London, and other boroughs which border Spelthorne include Runnymede and Elmbridge to the south, Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough to the west, and Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames to the north and east.
The district was formed on the 1st April 1974 through a merger of most of the Staines Rural and Urban District with the Borough of Spelthorne.
Out of the 1,900 kilometres squared of land that the borough covers, 3 kilometres squared is covered by Parks and Lakes. Part of this includes the Thames Path, a 184 mile long National Trail. The sixteen main parks in the area hosts a variety of recreational/sports facilities, and are supplemented by vast meadows, which consist of diverse and rare grasses. The borough also has five reservoirs, which cover more than 15% of land. These reservoirs have many uses, including providing a stable water source to London, as well as being the home to bird reserves, and in the case of the Queen Mary Reservoir, there is a sailing training centre.
There are also a number of sports clubs and facilities in the area, including the football clubs of Ashford Town, Spelthorne Sports and Staines Town. There are also archery clubs, a racecourse at Kempton Park, and a boat club, which hosts exotic sports such as dongola racing, canoeing and even dragon boat racing.
The largest towns in the area are Ashford and Staines-upon-Thames, which have populations of 27,382 and 18,484, respectively. They both act as the economic hubs for the area, with Ashford comprising of large businesses such as Co-op, Tesco Express and Costa Coffee. Many residents also commute to Heathrow Airport for work, and BP International is also another major employer.
Staines-upon-Thames's proximity to the M25 motorway, London and Heathrow has also meant that many companies have decided to locate in the town. Companies such as Bupa, Wood Group Kenny, NDS and Siemens have their national headquarters in the town, and Samsung also have many offices in Staines as well.
